Wings of Desire is a world-renowned body suspension crew from Oslo, Norway.

Founded in 2002 by Håvve Fjell as a branch of his acclaimed performance concept Pain Solution, the Wings of Desire (WoD) crew is dedicated to sharing their love of body suspension with the world.

WoD organizes the Oslo SusCon, an annual suspension convention that draws practitioners and enthusiasts from all over the world. WoD also actively participates in suspension events around the globe whenever and wherever possible. While WoD does collaborate with other artists and suspension practitioners to present stunning installations, performances, and events, its raison d’être is education, outreach, and facilitation.

To that end, WoD actively works with others in the suspension community to develop and disseminate best practices, and offers people the opportunity to experience hook suspension for themselves in a safe, positive, and supportive environment via monthly events and private appointments at our HQ in Oslo. WoD welcomes all genders, sexual orientations, races, religions, and political viewpoints with the exception of racists, sexists, homophobes, and fascists.

In addition to Håvve Fjell, WoD is led and supported by Alan Louis Belardinelli and Tom-Erik Johansen, with administrative support by June Ailin Bonsaksen.

In 2012, PS Media published Wings of Desire: Learning to Fly, an award-winning photo book chronicling the group’s first decade.
